| | Get Low! - Keeping Your Scent Down | |
|
If you have a hunting spot where deer scenting you is a problem, try laying down on the ground to hunt. You scent is heavier than air and tends to fall not rise. Covering in leaf litter also helps. This technique has allowed me to harvest some fine big bucks in areas with no suitable trees. American Indians used this technique frequently near trails leading to feeding areas.
