To make another type of deer feeder you will need a 5 gallon bucket. Using a hole saw hole cut an inch and a half hole centered in the bottom. Use a 3 foot piece of 1 inch PVC and glue a 1 inch PVC Tee on the top of it. Drop the pipe and fitting through the hole and hang the feeder about three feet off the ground and fill with feed. Boom, you made a cheap and easy feeder .
