I started the site in 2003, after trying in vain to find a decent hunting knife both locally and online.
Locally I found plenty of dedicated hunting knives, but everything was priced at full retail, too much for my wallet. Online I couldn't find a site that didn't make me wade through page after page of swords and fantasy knives, only to find some cheaply made knives that someone somewhere decided I should use for hunting.
After meeting with disapointment in my search for a new knife, I started HuntingBlades.com, as far as I know, the only site dedicated to the sale of hunting knives. When we say "Chosen by Hunters for Hunters" we mean it, everyone involved with huntingblades.com is a big game hunter.
This is my biggest buck to date, it was taken during the 2005 rifle season here in Maine. The deer was free range and taken off land open to the public for hunting. I used what is rapidly becoming my favorite rifle, a Savage Scout in 7mm-08. The rifle has allowed me to fill my tag for the last three years.
